The Salford Culture and Place Partnership is seeking suitable providers to develop a creative identity/brand to communicate with, reflect, celebrate, and amplify creativity and culture in Salford.
The identity/brand will be a story that draws from local heritage, ideas, and future possibilities to bring Salford alive with culture and creativity. It will provide identifiable and tangible opportunities for application, for example through the creation of a website, social media presence, digital and physical assets.
The audience for this piece of work is Salford’s extensive network of creatives and cultural organisations, and it is a key facet of the ‘City of Makers and Creators’ pillar, one of five which support Salford’s cultural strategy (further info below). The central purpose of the brand is to provide the identity for an online hub which supports Salford’s creatives by providing toolkits, resources and signposting – acting as a ‘one stop shop’ for the grassroots culture sector. (NB: The website build will be managed through a separate tender.)
